INVADE

Invade started out in 2005 as a couple of local Long Island kids together just to jam out with no expectations or goals. What followed was mass hype surrounding this band. Invade wanted to put emphasis on ideas and communication rather then be just another soundtrack to a mosh pit.

After Kevin Kalb joined in on bass and started helping solidify the songs that Bryan, Anthony, and Mike had been writing, it became clear this was more then they had hoped for.

Within about 6 months Invade had put forth their efforts into recording an EP with Phil Douglas. They self released, reproduced, and self distributed thousands of copies for free both Nationally and abroad. A strong DIY ethic is a cornerstone of Invade's identity. The focus was to make their music and mesage readily available to everyone who wanted to listen.

This release marks their first with a label backing them and others lined up to do future releases. In February of 2006 Invade started playign shows locally and out of state. Going through a couple of 2nd guitarists along the way. Invade welcomed the addition of Jon Ricco into the band in April. After a line up change in June with vocalist and drummer, Invade had a solid line up. Doing weekend tours playing alongside bands such as Hearfelt Discord, Mother Night, Verse, Have Heart, Modern Life Is War, Grey Area, and booking their own tour in late November. Invade was set on getting out to other states along the east coast to bring what they love to other kids.
